Who is KBR Metal Designs? KBR Metal Designs was created in 2019. It's a small business run by Kris and Brecken Reimer. We make quality metal artwork, yard signs, fire rings, and other personalized metal art. We are located on Hwy 3, 3/4 mile East of the Hwy 5. This started out as a hobby when I purchased a Dynatorch CNC Plasma table in 2015. We do all the cutting, prep, and painting so it can get really busy sometimes! Its a sideline business so my lead times are not always the same. Please take this into consideration when ordering and leave plenty of time.
What is CNC plasma cutting? CNC stands for Computer Numeric Control. CNC plasma cutting is a complex system that uses a computer to guide a plasma torch to cut shapes and designs into electrically conductive materials such as steel, aluminum, stainless steel and others. Plasma cutting involves combining electricity and air to blast thru metal. The system we use can cut most materials from thin sheet to at least 1/2'' plate! The table can handle sheets sized 5' x 10' so we can handle your biggest projects. I have access to thousands of designs to best suit your needs.
How do I get my custom artwork?
The first step is to contact us with the design of your artwork or sign. We can also help you design exactly what you are looking for. Once we have a design figured out I will draw up a design proof and price quote and send it to you for your approval. Once it has been approved, I will proceed to make your custom sign or artwork.
